    Rep. Meehan's "Helping People be ABLE to Work" Blog

    On October 28, 2016, Representative Pat Meehan wrote a Blog Post on the importance of the ABLE to Work Act stating "Building on the ABLE Act, my colleagues have introduced the ABLE to Work Act, which allows an individual with disabilities to contribute his or her own earnings to an ABLE account in addition to the $14,000 cap on annual contributions from others."

    Representative Patrick Meehan represents Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District in the United States Congress. He serves on the influential House Ways and Means Committee, as well as the Committee on Ethics. On the Ways and Means Committee, Meehan serves on the Trade and Oversight Subcommittees. The Ways and Means Committee is the House's chief tax-writing body, with broad jurisdiction over issues critical to Southeastern Pennsylvania like health care and trade.
